Uppsala is located 70 kilometers northwest of Stockholm.

You can travel to Uppsala in many different ways. Uppsala Central Station (both train and bus station) is located in the central part of the city.

Bus number 801 runs between Arlanda Airport and Uppsala Central Station. Cost 100 SEK - one way. For more information follow the link.
We strongly recommend taking the bus, but trains run between Arlanda Airport and Uppsala Central Station as well. Cost 160 SEK - one way. As more than one company runs the trains, it is important (and not so easy) to make sure you get the right ticket.

The train from Stockholm to Uppsala costs 82 SEK – one way. For more information follow the link:

Uppsala has a small city center, which means that you can easily walk to most places.
There is an extensive bus network and, of course, you can always take a taxi.
Bus number 5 runs from near the Central Station to Ekonomikum. Tickets can be purchased on the bus and cost 30 SEK one way and they are valid for one and a half hours. You cannot pay with cash; you need a credit card. Diners and American Express are not accepted.
You can also buy tickets from special vending machines located, for an example, at the Main Square (Stora Torget).

To order a taxi, you can use either of the following numbers:
Uppsala Taxi: +4618 10 00 00
Taxi Courier: +4618  12 34 56

The congress will be held in Ekonomikum, Kyrkogårdsgatan 10.
